free websites
I know lycos and others allow you to create free websites. Does anyone know any good ones? Looking to be able to have a calendar where I can enter in project due dates and possibly be able to have usernames and passwords for people to get into certain sections.
I should add , that it should make it easy for say person #1 to make an update to it and than say person #2 who doesn't live with person #1 to easily go and change something if needed. Last edited by legend_018; 11-08-2010 at 09:48 PM. |

Have you taken a look at something like Google calendar?
I think it will do exactly what you want. You can add events, due dates, or whatever you want, set your calendar to private and allow only certain users to view or edit or create new events. And it's free but you need a Google account. Or if you don't like/trust Google I'm sure there are other services out there that are very similar to Google calendar.

I wanted it to be a part of a small website though. It would just be about some town activities and announcements. Nothing big or anything.

Good commercial hosting is only 5 bucks a month or so, plus your annual domain registration fee which is about 10 bucks.
