Hi guys, I'm using a program called matlab for doing mathimatical tasks, yesterday I found a similar program called mathematica, and my question is:
if any one has used both of them before, which is better? Thanks |

Matlab is based on the Maple engine, which is a mathematical package and great for complex math problems.
Matlab is based more on programming; this is the main reason to use it. Maple and Mathematica are more for raw calculations. I use both Matlab and Maple, because they seem to be well-used in college courses.
