Anyone using C#???
I have been trying to decide which code version to learn and I thought since I am new I would learn the latest. Although the program is really expensive that runs it(so far if I understand it right)Visual Studio .net! I could be mistaken though. And I guess this is a beta!!! Just wondering if I could get some kind of input from someone Thanks

Cool! I was wondering about how I was gonna get the compiler since everything I saw available was in the 1000s of $!! I really like the try before ya buy thing cause ya can get a lot of software piled up on the shelves that didn't work or wasn't what ya needed, and free is good
Thanks Scotty

hmmm I don't see why not! It is the latest in language design and I think the program is in Visual Studio 6 isn't it?? I just started playing with it on win2000 pro, win98se and XP till I got the Nimda virus and lost everything last week

No, To make .NET applications you need Visual studio .NET (which is going to be release later this week). Visual Studio 6 has NO support for anything .NET related.

Couple more questions:
Are there any sites built entirely on the .NET architecture I can use as examples? Where can I find hosting for .NET? |

Visual Studio .NET and Visual Studio 6 are considered 2 different product lines. I think that you will be able to purchase VS.NET at a lower price as an upgrade, but VS.NET will not replace VS6.
