Difference between c# and c++

I am a c++ and vb programmer, but I haven't been able to find out anything about c#.

Could someone tell me the difference between c++ and c#?

C# is C++ combined with M$'s .NET framework. From what I can tell, C# takes away some control that programmers had with C++ in order to get along with this whole elephant of .NET, but other than that it is an evolution.
