I have Microsoft Visual Studio. How do I access .NET functionality within visual studio? Or do I need some other package tailored for .NET?

Do you have Visual Studio.NET, or some other version?

If you have VS .NET just start a new project and write the code, nothing special is required here.

I'm afraid you have visual studio 6. To make .Net applications you need visual studio .NET
You can however just download the .NET framework SDK and use the command line compiler that is supplied with that. (I worked for months that way, and it's actually pretty convenient.) |
