HDD config
i need help. i have a friend who was getting an explorer error message every time he tried to open a program after boot up. he paid bestbuy and compusa to fix it, but after a new HD and 300$ he decided to give me a try. i have the pc now and i thought reformatting the HDD would do the trick after loading reg's and drivers didn't work. but now i realized that i don't know how to load windows back on the HDD. its blank and so am i!
help me!
ps. someone said that it was a IDE controller problem but...., i don't have the know how to know if that was the problem.
