Delphi6 WHY???
I am currently analysising a problem to which delphi 6 may hold a solution using ado and ms access but i have to justify my choice, why would anyone choose delphi 6 and ms access when access on it's own would be a solution aswell please reply

What exactly is the problem that you are analyzing? A little more information would be useful.
However, I can't think of a good reason to use M$ Access as a back end, holding the data, and accessing it through Delphi unless you absolutely need to do things that Access cannot. I designed a transactional database with 20 concurrent users entirely in Access and it did the job; unless you need something special, I don't know why you would need the extra hassle of Delphi. |
