I am running Windows XP Home Edition on my lap top...I have just purchased Visual Studio.Net Professional. I was wondering if there would be any draw backs to installing it on the XP home edition, or if I should go and buy XP Professional? Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
Also, if anyone has any suggestions on what books to use to learn Visual Studio.Net and VB.Net language would also be appreciated. Thanks for you time! |

Visual Studio.NET must be installed on XP Professional. It will not work on XP Home.
