Good Morning!
I am going to be taking a class this next term in QBASIC. I use Windows XP on this machine. Will I need to install something on this machine to run QBASIC? I know zilch about this subject now (that is why I am taking a class). What would be the best way to prepare for this? Thanks in advance...this forum always comes through for its members! |

you can download QBasic from this site
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/5967/qbasic.html its very small... Im not sure if it will run on WinXP but if it doesnt you could always make a boot disk and put it in there and just load windows with that and run it from dos.

if you happen to have a win98 disc or older lying around, qbasic is included on these discs. I also took a few qbasic classes a while ago, my teacher said it runs on XP (running 98se myself though)
If you take it from a disk you need the qbasic.exe file and if im not mistaking you also need the .ini file from the same folder.

its the kind of programming that you can learn easily by yourself with only the basic commands... |
