Remote_addr
Help! I am trying to set up pages in ASP that allow a number of webcams to login to a chat room. The ASP captures their IP address using REMOTE_ADDR.
The database (SQL Server) is showing an IP address that is not mine! When I do an IP CONFIG and enter the IP that is displayed into the database it works but using not the capture! I am using webcam xp software. When viewed locally, no problem! As soon as I try across the net via my server, it goes pear shaped. What am I missing?
