Entrance

Hey, I have a website that is up and running, but personally I don't like the way the entrance to the site is at the minute. Would you guys mind taking a look and maybe give me some feedback? Fusion. Best thing about the site at the minute is basically the forum, but I am going to be adding a lot more content over the summer and want to get the entrance to the site sorted before I test out my writing skills.

i must admit i quite liked it

i'd maybe make the text for the links a bit bolder, and put a hover colour on them, or make the blue dots change colour when hovered on.

I like it too. The only suggestions that I'd have would be to have the links be rollover images. Also, at the center of the iris looking part, the FUSION text doens't really fit in with whole scheme of the entrance page, maybe it needs to be a different color or something. I like the ellipses circling the iris part. Overall, I like the entrance page a lot, Looks almost professional.

You might want to think about making the link text the same as the Fusion logo in the center. Other than that, I think it looks pretty good.

See, I was thinking of making the entrance a bit more of a news page because at the minute there isn't really anywhere on the site to do that but thanks for the positive feedback. The logo was done by a group of people before I came a long, think there was some professionals involved in it. Another thing is from my point of view, I haven't got much room for expansion on the site. With that entrance there isn't anywhere for me to make links to new sections other than at the bottom.

The site looks great! I do agree though that more news on the first page would be good. Maybe you can use some frames or something. I think the content is very good. We are members of a small church here with a very active youth ministry. Kind of makes we want to send this to the leader to see if they may want to do a site....

Cool! I would encourage you guys to maybe even if you don't want to start your own website, you could even get them involved in the forum on the fusion site, I'm trying to get some good discussions going and to give young people a place to come with their questions about anything.
