VB compile?
I was wondering if there was a way to compile a program in VB to .exe and then place it on an html page. Where the program is to load up on. Is that possible?

I'm thinking that if there is something you want to do along those lines, an ActiveX object may be better. I haven't done anything like that, though, so somebody else may have a better idea.

You can't embed a exe into a web page - if you place a link to an exe then the browser will try to download the file.
doctorgonzo is right though an ActiveX component can be embedded but you must remember that may people will not alow it permission to run. |
