Hello on my website i am using an IFRAME and somone told
me it doesnt work on netscape, So if i user a regular frame will it then work on aol and netscape??? It would be a pain in the butt to have to make each page have the links in a table format even though it probly would look good anyway the website is http://xavier.terabite.com/~wolfpack/ Please Help anyone!

As a general rule, I steer clear of frames. There are too many instances of them not working properly to actually put them into effective use. Try using tables instead. Check out http://www.theforce.net/ for a simple, yet effective use of tables for a header graphic and side navigation bar.

Iframes are always a pain. You can get them to do a lot of things but they will need IE 4+, NS 6 or Opera 5 to work. For what you are trying to do, though you really don't need frames or iframes.
If what you are looking to do is to not have to update a bunch of files because a nav link changed, then you should look into using includes, either php or SSI. |
