I myself have been learning my computer skills alone. What I do when I want to learn a subject, is first run a search on the net. I would try C++, or tutoriaal C++ or something like that. You will get many hits. Try to use more than one source.

Good Luck

Have you had any other promgramming experience? I just finished two classes in C++. The college I am going to requires a class in "Intro to Programming" before they offer C++. I was a class in QBASIC. At first I was bummed out because I did not want to learn an "old" language. I was glad I did. Although the syntax is different and so on, the first class introduced me to the idea of thinking through an algorithm before tapping away on the keys.

After all of that....LocoCoyote is right, there is LOTS of good stuff on the net if you do a search. When I hit a brick wall in my class I went to Google and searched for the concept that I was having a hard time understanding. I always found a tutorial or an example that helped.

Theres a very good book for learning C++, its kind of expensive though...about $50 probably.

It's called: Standard Version of Starting out with C++ 3rd Edition, by Tony Gaddis
