HOW do i make a program i written with visual basic 6 run with out visual basic 6

HOW do i make a program i written with visual basic 6 run with out visual basic 6 every thing i trie just opens up vb6 and loads it.tho i ve have tried not alot as my ideas are lacking please help thanks guys.

You need to compile the program, so that the result will be an EXE file.

i ve tried run and compile but thats does the same as run is there some other setting for it

Are you using a demo or standard version of VB? If so, then it won't make stand alone .exe's . VB studio or Professional versions will make exe's.

im using visual basic 6.0 enterprise edition on windows 98

It should be "Make" in VB6.
Open the project, File->Make Filename
