I really want to learn a language besides html And my bro just started taking java courses in college. But is java and javascript 2 diff things? Are those simple games they make where it says you need java made with javascript? Im confused.

With java you can create like window progs where you can click yes or no, that type of stuff?

Thanks,
Andrew

Most people get them confused. Javascript as the name says is a client based scripting langauge. A scripting language that is compiled and run by your browser. Java, of course, iis not a scripting language and needs to be compiled prior to it working. On the web, Java is usually done via applets.
