web publishing

Hello.
I am trying to publish web files to my host and I am getting an error stating” accessing http servers requires 32 bit tcp/ip networking, which is not installed or may be misconfigured, im using FrontPage. Can anyone help? also im using xp home

well i tried using ip address instead of a url and i got a little further now it says "frontpage server extensions not installed does not support publishing via http to continue specify a location thay will work with ftp.any ideas?and i have reinstalled the server extensions

You might have to use another ftp software to upload your files. I also cannot do it with FrontPage. I use CuteFTP or LeachFTP which is a free utility you can download.

thanks for the reply,i am a little further ahead,(i think)i searched and found a different address to put in the frontpage dialog box,now im getting an error "could not find web server on port 80 check to see if proxy settings are correct.any ideas ?is this settings in my computer or my server.

just letting everyone know the solution,in case someone else runs across the same problem.in lan settings you tick bypass proxy server for local address and put your server address in the appropriate box.
