Hi All:
I'm having a problem with some Jave scripts, both on and off line. I can't view some pictures, all I get is the outline of where the picture should be, and a little blue and red icon in the upper left hand corner. For example, here's a web page of mine that I can no longer view the Java script / picture http://home.att.net/~zoe3/ I think this happened when I downloaded IE 5.5, and DirectX 8.0. I first noticed that I could no longer view animated water (Java Script) in my Outlook Express stationery. I was told to reinstall DirectX 7.0a, and also to install dxtmeta2.dll, which I did, and that workes fine, I got my ability to view the animated water in Outlook Express, but now I find that I still have the above problem with some Java scripts. I keep up with all the latest updated from Microsoft with the exception of Windows Media Player 7 which I didn't like, and uninstalled it. Does anyone have any idea where to go from here, I sure would appreciate any help you can give me concerning this My system information below. Pentium II 400MHz MMX, 393Mb Ram, Display Adaptor: STB Velocity 4400 16Mb, Browser: IE 5.5, OS: Win 98 with Win 98 Plus. Bill Lane |
