I am using Dev-C++ v. 4.9.8.0 and I have compiled and run my program, but I dunno how to make an .exe file.
Anyone can help me here? TIA

Ahh, never mind fellows. I just found out that Dev-C++ creates automatically an .exe file whenever the program is compiled and run.
Thanks for dropping by. |

has dev-C++ gotten any better?
i used to use it, but it would segfault for no apparent reason around 5 minutes after completing a complicated piece of code and just before saving. then again, i was running it on windows. anyway, it was at that point i broke down and learned emacs. AS |

Dunno. I just started using it and the programs I am writting now are very small, as I am a beginner programmer. It hasn't given me any headache yet, and I am finding it very comfortable.

Dev C++ 4.8.9.0 works really good for me. I like it a lot better than its previous versions. It isn't so bad. The thing is uninstalling it though. To uninstall dev C++ is a pain.
