Its the Dark Side!

Books on java
Wow, my first time in the programming forum. Anyway, ive begun studying java in my programming class in my high school, but its not all that extensive. That and were using Microsoft J++. So does anybody have any good ideas on good Java books?

So i suppose the online tutorials are just as good as the Books. its gonna save me some $$$ if thats the case!

I used Sun's online tutorial to learn what I know (admittedly, it isn't much and it was a couple years ago). But it worked fine.

Try this site out - I believe you can download the course for free, or take it online.
