how do you make an option so it searches the page your on for a certain word that is typed in?

You're thinking kinda like the Ctrl+F on MSIE. That would require a certain amount of CGI coding, probably best in Perl. I don't even know if its possible - I'll tell you that it is similar to the search entire database programs. I'm not an expert on programming CGIs, so sorry, but that is all I can offer for explanation.
