Some things to do. One is that you will need an index.htm or index.html page. This will be your home page for the site. Another is to turn off directory browsing which can be a security hazard. You will probably have to turn on the Front Page Extensions on Apache to get the editing part to work properly.

The best advice would be to learn HTML first and then decide on which editor to use. |

The software that you code with doesnt make all that much difference (if you know html). I personally use Crimson editor or notepad. A good editor (although expensive) is Dreamweaver MX.
I learned HTML at http://htmlgoodies.com <--- That is a very good site to learn html, and i highly recommend it. You might also check out http://www.w3schools.com/ yet another good site. |

http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/98/15/index0a.html is also a valuable resource in using style sheets on your web page. I personally would recomend designing it from the ground up with style sheets, rather than making it in plain html now and redoing it a few months down the road.

Well I have just checked your site and my advice to you is that please read the HTML book very fast.
Another good book is HTML in 24 hours by BPB publications and aslo try this ite http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/ One of the most infamous site for newbies also try http://www.webmasterresources.com And for that much of space you are using you could try free space as well free domain for more information visit http://www.meidadots.com Quote:
