Website Designer!!!!!!!!

Hi,

My name is Jim Deeney and I am a website designer. I charge competitive rates for websites large and small. I have already designed my very own website at www.millenniawtravel.co.uk and am currently helping design other sites where I live in the Ilkley area near LEEDS.

Please email jmdmillennium@yahoo.co.uk. I can also sort out webspace and domain names combined to load your site to.

hi
this is by no means critisism. (well it is, but what i mean is i'm trying to be consturctive); what i want to say is ; all that is wrtiien beond this lne are just my humble oppions.

you made very nice use of frames, but the lay out and in paticularly the backgrounds are a bit to "bussy" and overwhelmimg for my taste. i like websites that are clear and don't overwhelm me visually . i don't know how to express this better and at anny rate it's just a personal oppinion.

one other thing is that on my mozilla there apear to be problems with your site (i had to switch to iexplorer to view it) you might want to check that out, especially if your gona use it as sort of a portfolio.

I hope this helped, if it did not, feel free to ignore this post

Website!!!!!!!!1

Hi there.

Many Thanks for giving me your view on the website - I will take ALL your points onboard. I was thinking of changing the color scheme tomake it more appealing to the eye anyway. I was also considering making it less cluttered and I will look into why it doesn't work properly on MOZILLA - personally I do not use MOZILLA as I don't like it.

Once again thankyou for your helpful constructive feedback.

Your site looks like it was done about 5-7 years ago when everyone used frames, javascript scrollers, best viewed with ..., etc. I would learn the basics of web design first before I tried to get any more business. Things like making the site fit in a 800x600 resolution, considering other browsers, having a page that doesn't want people to leave pretty quickly, etc. and ad infinitum.

jaydeemdm,

Please refer to our FAQ, usage guidelines, rule #10. You may link to your site in your signature, but you can't use our forums to blatantly advertise your site, which is what you just did here. Consider this a warning.
