Domain Registering

Can anyone recomend a good site to register and host domains? Something that preferably also allows you to keep it constantly registered so that someone using a service to pick of the name whenever it goes free can't pick it up.

I would say Powweb offers really nice hosting. They also offer a lot of stuff, like PHP support, and MySql, but they're price is 7.77 USD a month. I highly recommend it.

Hope that helps,
kram

I use GoDaddy to register all of my domains, cheap, fast and reliable and HostMatters to host most of my domains, very good service and support.

I've got some free 1&1 for the webhost, but as I'm going to drop them once the three free years are up is why I wanted a different place to register my domains.

Now this is something I'm kind of confused about, with Go Daddy will it host your domain name or is that something the webhost (1&1 in my case) does?

I use www.page-zone.com and they've been great. Excellent customer support and a good deal.

I use GoDaddy for domain registration and TotalChoiceHosting for hosting services.

Just thought I'd throw in www.pairnic.com. I trust them, too, as I host with Pair.
