http help

I created a desktop in html for windows XP and I am wondering if it is possible to make a link to the file "my computer," I made a link to a shotcut, but it always asks me if I want to dwnloadmy computer.lnk, is there a way to get rid of this message, please help

You mean that you made it kind of like "Active Desktop" thing that comes up when you boot your computer after a crash? I would just try this:

. I'm not quite certain on the path, but I would presume that it should work, since XP tends to let you do those things.
