Web page development software

I am looking for some feedback on web page development software. I make most of my graphics using Paint Shop Pro and it works pretty good for me but I want to get something good to make web pages. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

It depends on how it will be created. Are you going to write the code in the program or are you looking for a WYSIWYG editor?

Then you are probably going along the lines of Dreamweaver maybe Frontpage depending on your preferences. I don't know of too many others.

DON'T use frontpage, very bad software. Dreamweaver is great, very expensive though. You can go the opensource route too

Imaging-GIMP is simliar to the $700 photoshop, www.gimp.org never used it before but looks promising

WYSIWYG-NVU (n-view) is a good editor if you don't want to spend 500 bucks on dreamweaver, it has lots of cool features and tools www.nvu.com

Microsoft Word has web development features. I know that one could make some pretty nice sites using just Word 97 and Notepad.
