Web page development software
I am looking for some feedback on web page development software. I make most of my graphics using Paint Shop Pro and it works pretty good for me but I want to get something good to make web pages. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Steve |

It depends on how it will be created. Are you going to write the code in the program or are you looking for a WYSIWYG editor?

Then you are probably going along the lines of Dreamweaver maybe Frontpage depending on your preferences. I don't know of too many others.

DON'T use frontpage, very bad software. Dreamweaver is great, very expensive though. You can go the opensource route too
Imaging-GIMP is simliar to the $700 photoshop, www.gimp.org never used it before but looks promising WYSIWYG-NVU (n-view) is a good editor if you don't want to spend 500 bucks on dreamweaver, it has lots of cool features and tools www.nvu.com |

Microsoft Word has web development features. I know that one could make some pretty nice sites using just Word 97 and Notepad.
