system shutdown problem
My friend had ask me to help him with his PC problem and i don't know how to fix it.So i am here again...pls help!
His system: P4 2ghz,256mb ram and Window XP professional His PC keep on receive a system shutdown message saying that system will shut down and restart in one minute, it will then restart on it's own.He hadn't update his anti-virus program for a long time,in fact,he doesn't even know how to update it.So he suspect his PC had a virus that cause this problem. The message System Shutdown This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Time before shutdown : 00:00:60 The system process"C:\WINDOWS\system32\Isass.exe" terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073741819. The system will now shutdown and restart. Any suggestion is welcome! Thank you. |

That computer has the sasser worm. Go to www.trendmicro.com for help getting rid of it.
