Windows XP user accounts
how do you change the way user accounts looks in XP to the way it looks in WIN2K? for example in WIN2K it has all the user listed in a box in win XP it has the names with icons by them. thanks

Specifically where are you referring to? The login screen? If so, just disable the welcome screen.

no not the login screen when you go into control panel and then user accounts
|

I'm still confused by your question. Do you mean the picture next to the users name? Just go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Click on the user you wish > Change My Picture.
Again, not sure if that's what you're asking, but that's the only other thing I can figure from your question. |

I think he may be referring to how you can revert alot of screens in XP back to "classic view" I don't think that's possible on the user accounts screen, however, unless you turn off all the windows xp eye candy under my computer properties...never mind even with everything set to best performance, it still keeps the icons on the user accounts screen, looks like it may not be able to be changed...

Right-click on My Computer, select Manage, and then go to Local Users and Groups. You will be dealing with users in the Management Console and not the spiffy User Accounts screen from the Control Panel, and it sounds like you want the former.
