Programs Accessing the internet, which ones should be allowed???
Hi, I am currently using internet explorer and sometimes for some strange reason I sometimes go to an angelfire webpage for some reason whenever I am on IE, even when I am not doing anything, anyway I seem to have narrowed it down to some programs that keep trying to access the internet (I have zone alarm) that are all in the System32 folder, now I know that commonly alot of viruses are in this folder and whenever I allow them to gain access to the internet I seem to get sent to this angelfire website so I will list them and can you give me any info on these programs plz?
Here they are: winrls.exe wnetlogin.exe wserv32.exe wuamgrd.exe Thx for the help

I did a search on the Internet for those files and they all came up with being trojans. You might want to go to safe mode in order to get rid of them.
Good luck ! |

Just a tip for the future (which is what daisiee did), when you see a program you don't recognize asking for internet access, google it. That way you can figure out if it's something you want accessing the net.
If you don't have an AV, go to the Grisoft page and download AVG. Or you can run the Trend Micro online scan House Call. |

When I have been faced with programs that I don't recognize asking for web access, I deny it. Then, if something breaks, I will enable it after making sure it is legit.
