Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just built my own computer and there were enough problems just getting it together. now that i finally got it up and working something new is going on. Can anybody help me here is whats going on.
I turn on my computer waiting to get into XP and i get a screen that says
Checking file system on C:
the type of the file system is FAT32
One of the disks needs to be checked for consistency. Then it goes through the checking scan, it gets through that fine with no messages and opens up windows xp fine but i get a microsoft windows error that says:
The system has recovered from a serious error
a log of this error has been created. once i close the windows error it works fine for about 1 minute and the computer automatically shutsdown and reboots itself and does the whole process over again.

If anybody could please help me it would be great its my first computer build and its so difficult for me at this point im starting to think i can't do it. if anybody has any suggestions please please put it in as simple english as possilbe sorry its so long but any info would be helpfull.

Right Click on MY Computer->Select Manage (see the attached picture)

Double click on the items.

Try disabling the auto-reboot feature

To get to this go into control panel, system, then click the advanced tab and click the settings button by start-up and recovery. Uncheck the Automatic restart check box in the system failure area.

This way if it crashes you'll probably get a blue screen (commonly called a BSOD Blue Screen Of Death), there should be a message and some numbers. Post these and this should give some more info about your problem.

Though erattic rebooting can be caused by bad ram or a PSU
