Did this just come out of nowhere or had you changed anything on the computer, updated drivers or anything like that, before it started ?

Please post your specs.

Is it happening when you try to run a specific program or is it random?

assuming your using XP go into Control panel and open system

Go into system and click the advanced tab, then click on the settings button by startup and recovery options The uncheck automatically restart option, that way when it crashes hopefully you'll get a blue screen.

Post the info from the blue screen and this may help to find your problem.

It happens when I'm on Netscape or browsing the net. Sometimes it does it 2-3 times in a row. The blue screen says something like the error is pointing to a "page file". Is there a chance I could have faulty memory?

So it does it on Netscape ?
Do any previous questions apply?
If this is a blue sky thing System Restore could fix it but I'm at a stand if that's all the info.

Sorry Pam123, I guess I should have given more info. I have an Abit KV7 board with 512 of ram. I kept experiencing frequent and constant BSOD! Of course my system would write a dump file, then notify Microsoft of my problem. I was getting the BSOD error "page fault in nonpaged area" After searching the internet I found that these frequent BSOD's could be actually pointing to memory problems. I left in one stick of ram and still crashed. I replaced the other one and my system has been "very stable thus far!" I'll monitor this and let you know of any frequent problems regarding this!
