98 to XP

Is it possible to copy a users settings from 98 to XP?

I used the XP upgrade to go from XP to 98, it kept my username and things, do you mean that it keeps the background etc?

If you are talking about seperate PC's you can network them and use the "Files and settings transfer Wizard" utility found under XP Accessories/System Tools.

Upgrading should keep your settings but if you already installed XP then it doesn't take long to adjust a few windows and change a few options and set a background pic.
