shutdown issue as well
I used to have an issue where every time I shut down I would get various IE errors. I removed and reloaded IE and thats not the case anymore. However, ever since I loaded Battlefield V, when i shut down it goes thru the motions except for safe to shut down screen, thats when it goes to black screen with white curser in bottom right hand corner.
Running Win ME on an AMD 1200 512ram and older 128mb card 5200 I believe.(at work now so no access to it) |

Games are somewhat famous for causing system mayhem. . . One easy thing you can try is to install any updates to the game that are available & see if they help [If by Battlefield V, you're referring to Battlefield Vietnam, there's a new patch available http://www.eagames.com/official/batt...nity_update_10 ] - and sometimes updating things like video drivers, sound drivers, and even Direct X can help.
There's also the often-recommended Shutdown Troubleshooter at aumha.org http://www.aumha.org/win4/a/shutdown.htm Best of luck . . . Gary |
