Daul boot
Hey,
I just added a new hard drive to my computer and i installed windows xp onto it. Then i installed the old hard drive that already had windows on it. I was thinking it would just go by the old xp. Instead i got a dual boot screen. I removed windows from the old hard drive but i still get the dual boot, how do i get ride of this. Note- one of the options does not work becaus ethat windows is not there. |

Not sure how to get rid of it but this might work to prevent the OS list being displayed:
Click start>control panel>system click the advanced tab and then the settings button by startup and recovery, then set the "time to display list of operating systems" box to 0 seconds. That way the menu will not be shown on startup. I know it's not really a cure but at least you wont see the annoying boot menu anymore.

Think you need to change the boot.ini file. Here's a how to link. Toward the bottom are directions on removing an OS.
