hiding a partition

So I decided to move my page-file to it's own separate partitionI think it should be better because It's on my RAID 0 array with two 7200RPM drives instead of on my my main 5400RPM(I think) drive. No noticable boost in performance, but I think it should at least cut back on fragmenting a little bit. (I hope)

Anyways...How can I hide this partition? I don't want anyone to be able to put any files on the partition (which they cant because there isn't any extra space), I don't really want it to show up as just another partition in "My Computer".

Any suggestions, or should I just live with the way it is?

TIA, L J

My registry doesn't have a sub-folder for explorer where they specify in that article...

My pagefile never fragments. I set the minimum size and maximum size the same.

Heard about your way of doing it, but never really seen any performance gains, atleast in the articles that I read.

You could use powertoy/TweakUI for XP and just hide the drive letter.
