Windows 2000 boots to Control Panel

When I start up my computer at work that is running Windows 2000 Professional, it always boots to Control Panel. How can I get it to just boot up to the desktop ? I can't find anything that works. Thank you in advance.

Right mouse click on start......open......expand programs folder....expand startup folder and see if control panel has found it's way in there...if so delete it........
