I can print from one user account and not the other???

Hi guys,

I've got a bit of a problem here,

A while ago I set up two user accounts on my laptop (Sony VAIO pcg-fx701 with XP pro & 98SE) my existing one set as an administrator account and a limited account for the girlfriend as she kept messing around with my stuff.

Well, now she cant print from her account but from mine I can, so I changed her user account to an administrator account and re-installed the printer drivers and switched it back to limited but no joy. The printer is an Epson stylus photo 915 (USB) and it's being recognised when I connect it but every time you try and print you get a communications error popping up, I know this is not hardware related as from my user account it works fine on the same USB port and with the same cable.

Any ideas? because i've run out now

Have you messed with any permissions? Maybe she doesn't have permission to print? Have you tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the printer when she is logged in? Have you tried any printer diagnostics/troubleshooting? Just thoughts. Good Luck.

No permissions have been changed except she's using a limited account, but it used to work OK. I've repeatedly re-installed the drivers and allowed XP to redetect the printer. It see's the printer OK and reports that it's working properly. The problem only occurs when you try to actually print from any application. I know the printers OK because it works from my login. I suspect she's changed something but i'm not sure what
