Process with no visible name in startup?
I run msconfig every once in a while just to see what is starting up on my system and saw an item I hadn't seen before (at least I don't remember it being there).
Under the "startup" tab, there is an item checked, but the "startup item" name is blank. Also the "Command" column is blank. In the "Location" column, it shows HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Any ideas what this could be? I haven't taken the check mark out and restarted yet. Thought I'd ask some of the experts first. Maybe all XP startup folders contain this blank startup item. Thanks....

I have one of those also, but can't find it in the Registry. There was talk in another thread of "hidden" entries. Could this possibly be one of them?
