How to get rid of a sound effect

I was just fiddling with desktop settings and changed from the standard blue XP scheme to the silver..And now whenever I click a link there's that little click sound..and that sound drives me insane. I must have figured out to get rid of it the first time a long time ago but now that I switched color schemes it's back and I don't know how to get rid of it..So, how do I?

Control Panel > Sounds > Play the sounds until you find the annoying one and then select "none" for the sound (I think it's either "Select" or "Open program" sounds)

Yee ha thanks. I was in the right place before and found the sound for something else and turned it off but that didn't do it. Just went back and it was with "start navigation" turned it off and that did it.
