Office 2000 - 2003 problem

I have an internal intranet and data bases that have links to other office files on our network. Recently a few people were upgraded to office 2003. Problem is a hyperlink created in office 2000 pointing to another office doc. (ie: excel.exe) will not work using Office 2003. Looks like the problem is because the .exe files for office 2000 are stored in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office where as the .exe. files for office programs in 2003 are stored in a folder called ....\Office11. So...using 2003 when I click on a web link created in FrontPage 2000 it looks to open excel from the ....\Office folder however excel.exe is in the ...\Office11 fold and I get errors. Anyone know if Microsoft has a fix for this or how I can get around it with out moveing the .exe's around.

Thanks
Ty
