how to build a server?
hello
i recently bought a used computer. P4 2.4c Computers. i want to build a server. what is the first step i should do. when i use a commerial DSL provider. what is the easiest way to build my own server. can anyone explain |

Commerical DSL may be a problem, do they allow FTP servers, if not then it may be a bad idea to host one. Do you have a static IP, I don't know about the USA but in the UK most ISP's give you a dynamic IP.
