Random Reboots

Hello, I started having random reboots yesterday after 3 to 5 min, so I started checking everything I could in the OS with no positive results, so I took everything back to Default settings in the OS, and default in the Bios. I've already checked the memory and everything checked out OK. Any help Please. THKS

What are your temps in your BIOS?

I see from your sig that you have overclocked. But in your post you say you have set everything back to normal. Does that mean you set the CPU back to the stock clock speed? If not, do so, and see if that helps.

CPU Temps: 29c/84f

MB Temps: 30c/86f

Yes I have taken settings back, but still rebooting. But know it only reboots about once every hour.

Those are very good temps, so I doubt that would be the cause of the problem.

Have you done a virus scan? If you've done one with your resident scanner, perhaps try with House Call as occasionally it picks up things that your scanner doesn't.

I ran AVG yesterday, and everything checked out OK, running it as I type now.

Update:
Just thought I'd edit this reply, instead of posting new one. Just finished AVG check, everythings OK there.

What you should be doing is turning off autoreboot on error. That will at least tell you if its a system error or a virus that is telling your computer to reboot.
Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > System > Advanced > Start up and Recovery SETTINGS > UNCHECK automatically restart.

How when your computer encounters an error you should see a Blue screen with an error message also known as BSOD (blue screen of death), write down the entire error message and post back here.
