weird problem

ok, I THINK this is probably a problem with windows, if not my internet explorer. but I figured with all the people here , at least a few of you may have encountered a similar problem.
I'm taking an online class this semester, so taking the tests for this class involves me going to a website, logging in, and taking a timed quiz or test. well, when I log into this site, and click on the link to go take the test, it links to a window that says I've already taken the test (which I haven't), and it provides a different link for me to click to view the results. When i click that, it leads to a window saying that I haven't taken the test yet, so there are no results to display. I'm figuring it has something to do with the cookies or windows but I really have no idea. anyone have anything like this happen? Thanks for the help.

Your best bet would probably be to contact the folks providing the tests. I'm sure they've seen this one before [it might even be in a convenient FAQs file on your testing site]. I imagine you are correct in that it's probably a cookie setting - that is being blocked either by your Security/Privacy settings, or by a Spyware/Adware/Pop-up blocking program.

you might have to clear your cookier every time you get done with a session......in internet explorer, just go to >tools>internet options>temporary internet files and delete them...those are your cookies
your browser just might be trying to go back to the same page until you clear them.
I have had this problem myself..
hope this helps
