good proggy like winblinds
i want something to change the theme or apearance of my comp. i have xp and ive seen winblinds, and i have tuneup utilities, which does it too. but i want one that doesnt slow down your computer too much but looks really good. needless to say im getting tired of the same old same old... thanx in advance!

Well, WindowBlinds is the only one I have used. It doesn't slow my computer down. The amount of RAM it uses depends on how fancy your theme is. Mine is using 896kb. Not much.

Replaces the whole explorer.exe theme....totally changes the user interface of windows... Requires much paitence, and you need to be familiar with how windows works and how to do some coding to get everying working right....but in the end you can get some great results HTH |

WindowBlinds uses less memory than the native themes service Windows XP uses to show its own themes.
It also uses better(faster, more accurate) methods to skin the GUI. This is especially true for the latest version of WB. If you are into skinning your GUI, you'd do well to purchase the enhanced version of WB. |
