Changing desktop settings once on a multuser system
I'm running XP-Pro in a multuser environment. Each of my users are my wife and kids, and I'm the sys admin.
Today I decided I wanted to install Mozilla - Firefox and start using it as the default browser. Now that I've installed it logged in as the sys admin, I'd like to make the icon available on the desktop of each of my users. Is there a simple way of doing this w/out having to login as each user? Any other tips on ways to add/remove programs as the sys admin but allow some users to see/use them and others to not? Thanks |

Think you have to log in as each user separately in order to set the icon on the desktop. You may even have to change them to Admin rights temporarily to do so. Depends on Program Access rights. Rather than digging for a solution thats what I would do.
