IE Not working

After installing XPSP1 my internet no longer works, i get the cannot find server message. My broadband connects as i get the connection box appear in the lower right hand side of the screen yet IE will not work. It did work before i installed SP1. Any ideas

have you tried the repair tool?
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs On the Install/Uninstall tab, click IE6 and Internet Tools, click Add/Remove, click the Repair Internet Explorer option...... I'd try that one first

check for viruses, adware,spyware, trojans, etc. also, u have 2 have a valid cdkey....

Thanks for the replies guys, i managed to sort it out in the end. The Norton Internet Security program was blocking port 80. How i don't know as i had disabled the firewall. Anyway uninstalled the whole Norton program and am noe able to surf the net.
