Windows Update with no internet connection?

I've just built a Windows XP machine but don't have access to the internet on it. Is there anyway I can download all the updates from Windows Update on my other, Windows ME, machine, burn it onto a disk and then install them on my XP system? Or do you simply have to have an internet connection to benefit from Windows Update?

Thanks, JTH
