.jpeg will not open

I have a Win 2000 Laptop & I can not open any .jpeg files that I have got in an email attatchment. I have saved the files to my c drive & tried to open then in notepad but I can't!!!! The attatchment made it throught the server becasue I forward it to another computer & they open fine. Please advice!!

Right click on the file and select Open With and choose Internet Explorer.

Umm, Notepad will only open Text files not graphic files.

Out of curiosity, why are you trying to open a JPEG it in your notepad?

I meant to say paint instead of notepad, sorry
