netmeeting
I have win2k upgrade installed on this thing and would like to use NETMEETING so I can access my brothers computer who is in the great state of UTAH,BUT I cannot get netmeeting to work on my computer,it comes with 2k,but when I go to set it up it just freezes task manager shows it not responding,,,what can I do to get it to work???TIA

Are you trying to use a video camera that's plugged in? The freeze usually occurs because of using hardware that isnt quite compatible with netmeeting; hardware could be pretty varied from USB drivers (especially when using USB vid cards) to video card drivers and related "TV tuner cards" and sound card drivers- the things that I'd suggest were to check and update any and all the drivers that would be related to a video conferencing session (video, sound, camera, USB) as well as checking to see that your version of DirectX is up to date.

I was'nt trying to use it just at the moment,just trying to set it up so I could use it when I needed to,I will go out to net and find the new drivers for the vid card and camera,I have onboard sound dont know about those drivers...my sig shows the board and other specs, thank you statica for the responce....
