Does anyone know how i can load a .img file onto a spare hard drive?
It is an image of my old Windows XP.Thanx -Joe |

Usually the program that created the IMG file will also extract it for you; consider the IMG file as a compressed file (like zip's) you need a 3rd party application like MagicISO or ExtractNow (freeware util)

I did not make the image file. My friend came over and did it a while back. And the other thing is that the app is on my Mac. Now my mac is broken and my friend moved away so im out of luck. lol Yes i hear that it is impossible to install mac osx onto a pc, but i have my mind set on this and i hope to accomplish it. Another problem i am having is that the image file is 2 gigs. Would i have to burn it with a dvd burner?
